Our not so #babychicks just turned 4 months old! We still have all 7 cockerels that we hatched in both clutches over the summer raising our baby chickens. We would love to adopt them out, but there aren't very many homes for #roosters. So we have a #roosterflock. We built them a rooster coop and we are now building them a rooster run/chicken run. It's not the most ideal situation, but it's what we are in.

Raising Roosters is quite an adventure. These are the chickens of Our Lives and there's way too many rooster! So what to do with multiple roosters when there's too many roosters in the flock? We build them a diy chicken coop out of a swing-set, dog ear fence and repurposed shipping wood, like pallet wood and these really great 3x4s from our neighbors dad.

I will show you how to tame an aggressive rooster. It's what works for me. This is our update of raising baby chicks week by week. This is week 16. We are still integrating chickens, the pullets with the main flock and Jethro back with the bachelor flock.
