The IB Diploma Programme offers an opportunity to learn on a global standard. The IB is a rigorous college preparatory program for students dedicated to their education. At Northeast High School in Philadelphia, the IB program starts with "Pre-IB" in 9th and 10th grade. If the students meet requirements, they will be admitted to the IB Diploma Programme in 11th grade. Contrary to popular belief, IB does offer the time and chance to participate in extracurricular activities. It is up to you; if you manage your time wisely in IB, you will become an individual that is well-rounded in all subjects and considerate of all ideas, cultures, ethnicities and religions. Depending on your scores on the IB Exams, you will be able to earn college credit at many universities.
