This project develops a shelf detection system using the ESP32 microcontroller and the Telegram application as a communication medium. The system is designed to simplify the search for required books by activating an LED through the Telegram application. It assists users in identifying the location of a specific book on the shelf by lighting up an LED based on the selection made via the Telegram Bot. When a specific command such as pressing the “BUKU BM” button is received through Telegram, the ESP32 activates the corresponding LED on the shelf to indicate its location. This project can rapidly locate items which is allows users to quickly find what they need easily without wasting time. It can also help to improve space management making the environment tidier and more systematic. Meanwhile, this project also has a user-friendly visual cue that provides clear guidance through labels and through LED lights to make it simple for users. When items are not organized or labeled properly, it could cause more time to search it. Sometimes items that are misplaced or disorganized causes items to end up in the wrong locations or mixed with unrelated materials. Inefficient manual searches which is having to look for items manually without labels for guidance. This project offers a significant contribution to modern library technology by introducing a practical solution to improve how items should be organized. The prompt system response has been confirmed through testing, proving that the system works successfully. As a result, it provides facilities such as making library operations faster, easier and more efficient. This system is highly replicable because it uses common and low-cost components such as ESP32 and LED. It’s straightforward wiring and programming making it simple for users to build and adapt. Additionally, it can be used in different environment with only small changes needed. Overall, the system provides a practical and efficient solution for smart inventory management.
