A bicycle ride on the Rue Laurier raised cycle track in Gatineau, QC (May 2024). Highlights include a raised cycle track on both sides of the road, sidewalk updates, crosswalks, bus stops, a connection to a multi-use pathway and the Alexandra Bridge.

The Rue Laurier raised cycle track is located between the Alexandra Bridge (at the Canadian Museum of History) and Boulevard Sacré-Coeur. We'll start by riding Northbound from the Maurice Richard Monument (just West of the Alexandra Bridge). You can also access Jacques-Cartier Park from this corner with provides a connection to the Voyageurs Pathway along the Ottawa River. We continue riding North all the way to Boulevard Sacré-Coeur, passing several bus stops and crosswalks along the way.

Next we turn around and ride Southbound to Boulevard des Allumettières. At this intersection you can turn left to access the Alexandra Bridge, a multi-use pathway and the Canadian Museum of History.
