The Stone Roses – Love Spreads (1995 HELP)

Recorded and filmed at Rockfields Studios in Wales for the 1995 HELP album. This is the only recording of 'Love Spreads' with Robbie Maddix on drums. He took the place of Reni who had left the band in March 1995.

All of the songs, along with a handful that were released on a companion EP, were recorded on one day, Monday, September 4th, 1995, mixed the following day, and released to the buying public a few days later, on Saturday, September 9th

HELP sold over 70,000 copies on day one and reached number one in the UK compilation charts. HELP would have reached number one on the UK albums chart had it been eligible

The album also won a special award at the 1995 Q Awards and the Freddie Mercury Award at the 1996 BRIT Awards.
