According to Deputy Minister U Kyaw Ni of the National Unity Government, the raids carried out by PDF battalions against camps of the BNRA (Burma National Revolutionary Army) led by Bo Nagar in Pale Township were conducted following requests for intervention. The actions reportedly stemmed from allegations of public oppression and criminal misconduct, prompting appeals to the Ministry of Defense under the NUG.
