In search of a BETTER sleep - VANLIFE SUSSEX

This episode was filmed 1st July 2022.
In this episode we take a short trip in the little red camper to test out some new equipment.
On our way we scout out a potential night park up at the bottom of Ditchling Beacon.
Our destination is Stanmer Park near Brighton where we have a coffee and Ken unpacks his new camera cleaning kit.
We explore Stanmer Village with its church, donkey wheelhouse and almshouses.
A steep walk up through the woods brings us to Lot’s Pond, an old dewpond where we watch a group of dogs out for their walk.
Back down the hill we discover the Water Catcher, one of only two left in the country, which supplied the village with running water.
We are taken through a secret gate into “One Garden”, a veritable wonderland within the old walled garden of the estate.
A quick look inside Stanmer House which is now used as a cafe then just time to find the Frankland Monument supported by three tortoises.
