Playing among the clouds and the famous panoramic views, the YYC Quartet battled cold fingers and windy weather to serenade sightseers 7,486 feet up Banff’s Sulphur Mountain.

They were part of the Quartet in the Community and Young Musicians programs that took place during the triennial Banff International String Quartet Competition, along with the FourSet Quartet, and the Chestnut String Quartet. The three quartets took the Banff Gondola up Sulphur to play for the many visitors gathered at the top.​
