Biden names Gautam Rana US envoy to Slovakia

U.S. President Joe Biden will nominate diplomat Gautam Rana as the new U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia. He's a career member of the Senior Foreign Service and is currently Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Algeria . Rana was Director for Afghanistan and Pakistan on the National Security Council staff.
