England & Wales, 1963

Two months my Mom and Dad and myself as a little kid spent visiting England and Wales in the spring of 1963. My Dad, William Edwin Bell took all these pictures as slides which I digitalized. We travelled to England from Montreal, Canada and we came back to Montreal, both ways by ocean liner (Cunard). It took eight days to cross the Atlantic. The course and our progress was plotted on a chart, day by day for the passengers to see. Particularly going to England there were high winds and seas and most of the passengers got sea sick. On the voyage over to England nearly all the passengers got a type of flue. We finally recuperated when we got to England. The cause of the illness could possibly have been something in the water.
