London's Best Kept Secret | Horniman Museum Overview | Steff Hanson

This is easily the most fun, varied and wonderful museum I have ever been to! It has a very small butterfly house, dinosaur exhibition, tiny aquarium, historic musical instruments hall and so much more as well as beautiful grounds, cafe and gift shop. It's located in Forest Hill on the overground and I highly recommend coming here. Everything is free to visit except for the butterfly house (£7-10) aquarium (£3.50 -7) and Dinosaur rEvolution (£7-10) full pricing is shown in this video.

The Museum is open daily, from 10am - 5.30pm

The Butterfly House is open from 10.30am - 4pm (last entry 3.30pm)

The Cafe is open from 9am - 5pm daily. The Bandstand Kiosk is open daily, 9am – 4pm.

The Gardens are open daily, from 7.15am (or 8am Sunday and Bank Holidays) until 7.30pm.
