1950's Tottenham /Spurs Documentary

Wonderful documentary film from 1959 following the players of Tottenham - at home (with some dodgy acting!), training and matchday.

Showing pretty basic training techniques and routines, sitting around the tactics board with manager and kicking ball against the wall for practice!

Great scenes of a vintage White Hart Lane ground - empty during the week for training, preparations being made for matchday, early crowds onto the terracing through to a packed full house.

Wonderful scenes from the roads around White Hart Lane - showing a difference in matchday compared to modern day football. Very noticeable the lack of team colours - the odd scarf here and there, mainly suits/ties and caps - definitely no replica shirts!
