The grey-shanked douc langur is critically endangered and has been listed as one of the world’s 25 most endangered primates. A few of these langurs live in a semi-wild enclosure in the Hill Section at EPRC. Keepers check on them once a day when they feed them. During my volunteering at EPRC, I could hand-feed them with sweet potatoes. Some were really gentle, and others strongly grabbed the fruit from my hand. I love to watch them, especially how they collect three pieces in their hand, and when they finish they come for the next piece.
