WARN Aluminum Hawse Fairlead is designed to be used with synthetic rope only, and decrease the possibility of fraying. When switching to synthetic rope from cable, it is necessary to replace the roller fairlead or hawse fairlead with a solid aluminum fairlead to avoid pinching the cable and damaging the new synthetic rope from rough surfaces of the old fairlead that was used with cable.

Seems to be a quality product.
Didn’t get a chance to try it out, but saves weight over the roller fairlead and bolts right in. I also replaced my wire rope. All told I was able to shave 27lbs off the front of my Jeep with this combo.

I had 110’ wire rope/ Warn roller fairlead and replaced with 90’ warn Spudura synthetic rope.
The only gripe is the inside radius could’ve been polished out a bit more to get rid of minor casting flash.

Overall I’m pleased and shipping was quick, I’m sure it will be a solid modification.
