What is the greatest shred guitar song of all time? Many modern shredders like Rick Graham are influenced by Lord Eric Johnson. His tasteful playing is characterized by smooth voice leading and scary pentatonic licks. Hybrid picking, pedal point and piano voiced arpeggios are all fair game in his iconic track, "Cliffs Of Dover". We'll be watching a live performance of this song recorded in 1988 in Austin Texas.
