Exploring life this week through the lens of setting ourselves up for understanding and success for some upcoming events, specifically birthing! Morning rituals have a lot to do with setting the tone for the day. We love having the nature and growth around us to remind us to connect and take it slow. Fresh fruit for our community and our carnivore lifestyle in contrast!

This little room in our house I want to make into a birthing prep room, then maybe the room that will hold the birthing tub for my HBAC and then a nursery for baby clothes, rug cuddles and diaper changes. And yes, I have a romantasy addiction… my book collection has some hilarious titles.
Mood boards can also be mood trays and there’s something empowering and motivating about creating a physical board from only the items in your home as opposed to relying solely on Pinterest or digital imagery which is so intangible.

And my husband wants to know what it’s like to be pregnant soooo, he does the watermelon challenge (is it even a challenge?) and straps a watermelon to his waist for a whole day! It’s a super sweet gesture as he tries to really feel what I’m going through in this third trimester of pregnancy. Also he and our son found some amazing thrift store finds!
