Corrie Fee - Glen Clova | 4K | DJI Mini2

Описание к видео Corrie Fee - Glen Clova | 4K | DJI Mini2

Corrie Fee is located in Cairngorms at the very end of Glen Clova (this particular part of Glen Clova is called Glen Doll). Whole area is incredibly beautiful, but when you get to Corrie Fee, get out of the thick forest which is covering one side of it, you just stand there stunned with magical beauty of this place. It is a bowl-like valley surrounded by jagged peaks of Cairngorms from three sides and Glendoll Forest from forth side (the one you came from). The bottom of the valley is beautifully sculpted by glaciers into little hills, shaped like waves. Between them flows the river Fee meandering crazily. This river falls to the bottom of the valley at the far end of Corrie Fee with a picturesque cascade of water. Seeing all of it in one, incredible view is one of most magnificent, magical and majestic experiences you can have in Scotland. In my private opinion it beats Fairy Pools on Isle of Sky hands down and is on par with Glencoe views.

Walk from Glen Doll car park is not long - around 1 hour of slightly upward path. It took us this long only because the trail was partially blocked by trees fallen during Storm Arwen and we had to squeeze through them (which was fun). Car park in Glen Doll is large, but quite busy and Ranger Centre is near by with helpful staff who will instruct you how to access your desired destination. Though Corrie Fee is hidden and unspoiled place, it is quite popular amongst hillwalkers, mostly because the trail to two popular munros (Mayar and Driesh) is crossing the valley.
