Today I am presenting you with something really special.. Most of you that follow up on my channel, know that I mostly focus on video game music and everything related to it, but just this past February - another opportunity has presented itself. Working with Susannah Donnan (the Director) was a really unique and learning experience. I only had a handful of chances to work with film up until this point, but it's an area of the industry that I am very much looking forward to discover more in the future..

"The Woodlands is my first short out of film school and possibly my last film here in South Carolina. I wrote the script in November/December 2021 and got together with some of my favorite collaborators to shoot the film in January/Febuary 2022. It's a small project, but it's been an incredible experience. I wanted to do a period piece so I could play with costuming and world building, but most of all I wanted woods at the center of the film. I love the woods."
