Let the battle of the paint polishers commence! Our Pro Detailers discuss the differences between long throw and short throw polishers.

There are too popular ways to polish paint and clear coat. By hand or by machine. However, there's only one kind of hand! Whereas machines can vary. Rotary polishers and DA polishers are a good example of the best and popular options in the detailing market. A short throw means it covers a small surface area, but can be more precise. A long throw polisher covered more surface area, but may need several passes for a concentrated area. The long throw is a popular option for it's speed and ability to correct paint faster. Whereas the short throw polisher may work better with particular polishes or compounds. It really comes down to preference and products being used!
