Receiving negative comments, feedback, or reviews can be tough – I totally get that. It’s easy to let them get to you and feel anxious, but I’ve found that taking a step back really helps. If it’s just a pointless insult, I ignore it and move on. But if there’s genuine criticism or a real issue raised by a client, colleague, or someone in my network, I think it’s important to respond, learn from it, and put things right if I can. Even if I can’t fix the problem, offering a sincere apology can go a long way. For me, dealing with negativity proactively feels so much better than letting it affect my mood.
