Renault UK Clio Cup 2013 Championship Highlights

The 2013 Clio Cup UK championship saw the swansong of the incredible Clio 200 Race Car. After 7 years of the Clio 197/200 generation vehicles, the Championship moves into the turbocharged era with the arrival of the Clio 4 Cup Race Car.

The new car replaces the naturally aspirated 2-litre F4R engine with a new 1.6 turbocharged unit, mated for the first time to a paddle-operated single clutch SADEV gearbox, alongside the introduction of fully adjustable suspension. The new 2014 car promises to bring the series even closer in performance to the premier category, the BTCC and will only increase the ability of drivers to transition to the top class of touring cars in the UK.
