I've owned this arrangement for guitar of Bach's ubiquitous Air, arranged for guitar by Ivor Mairants, for many, many years but never made the effort to play it.

I recently discovered it and blew away the dust and found it to be a delightful arrangement and I have thoroughly enjoyed creating this recording.

No doubt there will purists amongst you who may scoff at the arrangement itself and the performance but I feel it is a well thought out work for the guitar. It's a challenge both technically and musically but it has given me a great deal of pleasure.

I hope you will enjoy it too.
