BABY DOVE starting to eat SEEDS now! YAY!!! ❤️

She still loves her baby bottle at mealtime, but she's finally showing an interest in bird seed (tiny ones)! It will be a few weeks before she can handle larger seeds.

Her story: This sweet baby was found in our backyard under our Crepe 'Myrtle' tree on 8/18/2021, barely a week old. Watched from the window all day and into the night for mama to return, but she never came. Barely moving and all covered with flies, we decided to help her out. Brought in her inside, made a warm little bed, and fed her around the clock. Gave her plenty of love and affection and now we're blessed with this amazing, feathered family member (who thinks our 2 little dogs are her siblings).
