Birding South Africa Part 2: Kruger NP Oct 8. (Lots of mammals, too!)

Описание к видео Birding South Africa Part 2: Kruger NP Oct 8. (Lots of mammals, too!)

I remembered to film a little during this first safari day, but as usual I mostly took photos and added birds to my Life List... However, there were plenty of mammals to add to the Life List as well, because Kruger NP is mostly famous for them.
This video features my first Giraffes, White Rhinoceros and African Elephants as well as Spotted Hyaena and some antelopes (like Greater Kudu, Steenbok and Klippspringer) and of course Plains Zebra. And a Leopard. And a Hippo on land at dusk...
Birds on video: Wahlberg's Eagle, Crested Francolin, Southern Ground Hornbill, Natal Spurfowl, Brown-headed Parrot, Southern Yellow Hornbill, Tawny Eagle, Greater Honeyguide, baby Verreaux's Eagle-Owl, Crowned Hornbill, Lilac-breasted Roller and (of course) Red-billed Oxpeckers on many of the mammals.
Many more bird species is presented on photo only.
