Redevelopment of India’s Dharavi slum worries many residents, business owners

Work is underway to redevelop one of Asia’s largest slums, Mumbai's Dharavi, which is home to about a million residents as well as thriving industries like leather and textiles. The project will unlock much-needed land and help to modernise India’s financial capital, but many residents are concerned about its potential impact on their lives and livelihoods.
