- get as decent an interface as you can, so that you have less hum/buzz to deal with
- use the 'off' configuration to reduce/eliminate perception of #latency (lag in vocals and instruments matching up)
- listen to the still small voice inside. be unhurried; listen to your work as you go!!
- take your time; give yourself margin and the time it takes for your projects to actually sound good.
- don't take yourself so seriously. learn to genuinely appreciate the process. learn to hold yourself accountable while also having grace and compassion for yourself.
