So after a few hours I was able to find a technique to get the elusive barrel roll on the speed pads leading into the 2nd last right hander. Its a lot harder than it looks (obvious from the fact I got it only 4 of the 5 times).

Essentially I used the Pir-hana's low traction to carry its momentum away from the apex as I steered into it, this allowed me to use the apex as a ramp as the craft swung to the outside of the corner. This just barely gives you enough height to roll on A class and as such requires a lot of practice to nail consistently.
Of course in A+ class this barrel roll is much easier due to the extra speed.
