The actual Closing of the Winterland took place on
NYE 1978 and featured the NRPS, The Blues Brothers,
A screening of the Blues Brothers Movie and an astounding
and extended 3+ Set Grateful Dead Concert to honor the
hall and it's mainstay promoter: Bill Graham.
