In Part 3, I bring the Buddha’s teachings to life through three powerful stories — some popular, others rooted directly in the ancient texts:

The Gift of Anger is a well-known story that mirrors the Akkosa Sutta, where the Buddha responds to verbal abuse with calm insight.

The Muddy Water Story, though not part of the Pali Canon, echoes the Sangaravo Sutta and reminds us how clarity emerges from stillness.

The Poison Arrow is drawn directly from the Cula-Malunkyovada Sutta and reminds us not to get lost in abstract questions, but to focus on what frees us.

I close the series with a few final reflections on what the Buddha’s journey means for those of us still walking our own path.
