Zinc Sulphate and Chelated zinc differentiation:
In pesticide and ftertilizers market, farmers have to face trouble in selection of zinc fertilizers. Grower is confused because of existance of a variety of different zinc fertilizers.
Mainly there are two types of zinc fertilizers
1) Zinc sulphate: 33%, 21% and 27%
2) Chelated zinc: 5% and 12%
Zinc sulphate is used in soils. It is slow releasing type of zinc.
Chelated zinc is fast available type of zinc. It is applied through foliar spray application on plant leaves. It is readily available form of zinc. It donot react with phosphatic fertilizers. Whereas zinc sulphate react with phosphatic fertilizers so it is fixed in soil.
