// CCPA Applicability
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies to for-profit businesses that meet any of the following thresholds:

Annual gross revenue exceeds $25 million. Buys, sells, or shares personal data of 100,000 or more California residents, households, or devices.
Derives 50% or more of annual revenue from selling or sharing California residents' personal data.
Additionally, non-California businesses must comply if they handle personal data of California residents and meet these thresholds.

// GDPR Applicability
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to any organization, regardless of location, that:

Processes personal data of individuals in the European Union (EU).
Offers goods or services (even free) to individuals in the EU.
Monitors the behavior of individuals in the EU (e.g., tracking online activity).

It applies to:

Both data controllers (determine how data is used) and processors (handle data on behalf of controllers).
