✈️ FSWeekend, Amsterdam Vlog – Day 1!
We’re kicking off a brand-new Vlog series — and this one’s all about aviation, design, and (naturally) a touch of luxury. Join me as I head from London Heathrow to Lelystad in the Netherlands for FSWeekend, the world’s largest flight simulation event, held at the Aviodrome.
The day starts with an early 5am wake-up and a road trip to Heathrow, featuring my Swedish-themed suitcase and a special guest appearance by my Dad. Thanks to British Airways Gold Guest List status, we head into the exclusive Concorde Lounge, where I squeeze in some early meetings, enjoy mini pancakes, and take a look around the lounge’s often-overlooked features.
From Concorde dining to airport shops, flying in Club Europe, touching down in Amsterdam, and discovering we lost a suitcase... it’s all here. We wrap the day at a gorgeous villa in Lelystad where Conner, our Chief of Design, gives a quick tour and shares a celebratory glass of wine to kick off the weekend.
