Senator Cornelia Prüfer-Storcks has tested our VSI HoloMedicine®

Hamburg’s Senator for Health and Consumer Protection, Cornelia Prüfer-Storcks, visited Philips’ Health Innovation Port. We took this opportunity to introduce ourselves. Our head and neck surgeon, Dr. Hans von Lücken, explained our VSI project to the Senator, and our CTO & CEO, Sirko Pelzl, has used the chance to put the HoloLens on her head. Sen. Prüfer-Strocks had the chance to see 3D MRT Holograms. These could be moved through a cube which makes it possible to delve into the different layers of the MRT.
The Health Innovation Port (HIP) is the first Coworking Hub located in Hamburg. This hub is dedicated for new companies focused on eHealth, health and medical technology. It was established by Philips and the Technician Health Maintenance Organization (Techniker Krankenkasse). The official opening of the hub will be in October 2017. apoQlar has already joined it and is part of it, since July 2017.
