Lesser Yellowlegs was observed as a vagrant to Cley Marshes in Norfolk. This dainty, tail-bobbing shorebird is a rare visitor to the UK, and less than 400 individuals have ever been recorded. In its natural range in North America, it occurs in wetlands and fields and breeds in open woodlands in boreal Canada.
