More snow could fall in Greater Manchester tomorrow as 'multi-hazard' Storm Goretti hits the UK.

The storm, which has been named by Meteo France, is set to sweep over the country from the south west tomorrow morning (Thursday, January 8). It will develop throughout the day bringing the strongest winds, rain, hail and snow during the late afternoon and evening.

The heaviest rain will be in the south of England but Met Office forecasters say the storm 'will bring snow on its northern edge'. After days of wintry conditions, Greater Manchester could see more snowfall tomorrow amid the storm.

According to the Met Office weather map, snow is likely to fall in parts of our region from around 6pm tomorrow. It is most likely to fall in parts of Tameside, Oldham and Rochdale.
