Mental wellness is a very important topic for our group. Issues regarding mental wellness and emotional stress affect many college students but also people of all ages and backgrounds. These issues are complex and present themselves in various forms to those affected. Members of our own group too have struggled with mental wellness over the course of their lives.

We recognize there is a stigma surrounding mental wellness, manifesting in people avoiding professional help and burying issues below the surface-level. This is especially common in our own South Asian communities. We hope our stories help remove the stigma surrounding mental wellness and emotional stress in South Asian communities and normalize some of the problems people may face related to these topics. We aim to ignite conversation and bring these issues to the forefront.
