PSP Minecraft (s4inex Lamecraft)

This is a pretty old and horrible showcase of an ancient PSP Homebrew that tried to mimic Minecraft. I remember that between versions bugs were shifted around, so some aspects of the game got better while others got worse. It didn't help that I modified the bitmap resources of the UI, my taste in design was rather mediocre (and might still be). It was fun looking beyond what Sony would offer for their platform. Those were the good times.

Good to see that there is still a community revolved around the console. I couldn't believe my eyes when around 2022ish a custom firmware was released with the possibility of permanent installation for my pretty late PSP 3000 Slim & Lite model so that I would no longer have to reload a temporary PBP file each time the PSP's power got lost. These days my PSP doesn't get much use though but every once in a while I like to have a look into it.

If it has been quite a while since you last dug out your PSP, you should probably have a look at it and check whether its battery is slowly transforming to a spicy pillow. I have heard that the battery electronics of PSP battery packs are very worthwhile because these seem to act much better than their off-market replacements. So it is probably a good idea to try preserving it where possible.
