I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 25 years old on April 17th, 2019. This video tells the story of my symptoms leading up to diagnosis, my visits to the doctor, and the days following my diagnosis. Being diagnosed with a chronic illness can be very scary and challenging, but I am doing so much better now.
