Jawaiian - Revox A77 MKIII Restoration

This is one of my projects while on vacation during COVID-19 Shutdown. I can't go anywhere so I have been keeping busy on restoring this Revox A77 MKIII reel to reel tape recorder. I replaced all capacitors that needed to be changed out. I rebuilt the capstan and reel motors, installed new tape guide bearing, new brakes and did everything to bring this tape recorder back to life.

The repair was performed as per the Revox A77 service manual, then calibrated with MRL test tape at 7.5ips, for Recording The Master LPR90 tape. Everything is working perfectly on this A77. No details were compromised on this project.

I had fun restoring this tape deck.
