This cover version was recorded by Nick and Jane at their home studio during the Covid 19 lockdown 2021. Nick is playing a PRS Custom 22 and an Alembic Epic bass.

Black is Black first appeared as the title track of a Los Bravos 1966 studio album. The song has been covered by many artists from Jimmy Ruffin to The Verbs but the most successful was the disco remake by Belle Epoque in 1977 which reached the top 10 in many European countries.
