Spider-Man had to wear disguise in public, because the Torino Crime Family was after him. One day, while he and Chat were hanging out, Nightcrawler watched Peter and informed the X-Men the device confirmed he's a mutant, then vanished. The squirrels who saw him quickly told Chat someone was watching them. Peter, thinking it was the Crime Family, fought the nearest thugs and beat them up. That night, Wolverine watched Peter at home, but Peter webbed him from behind and threw him across a few blocks, shouting to never come to his house. Logan tried to fight back, but Peter smashed him into the ground, shouting again. Logan called backup. Storm tried to fight Peter, but he threw her across the room. Peter broke the floor with Colossus, dodged Cyclops’s laser, and dropped a bookshelf on him. He jumped between them shouting to bring it on. Storm calmed them and said they’re mutants like him and want to help. Peter said he’s not a mutant and tells them to respect his privacy. After they figure out Chat is the mutant, Peter tells them to leave her out of it. Cyclops refused, but Chat came in and said she’s okay and doesn’t need help with her powers.
