note 2: at 7:40, I talk about playing lower-octave chords where the acoustics play, and also playing higher-octave chords. Personally, I play the higher-octave chords so I can have some difference from the acoustics — then I play around with the strumming too to have more of a difference in texture :P whatever the musical term for that is
