Locality Review: Egmore, Chennai

Egmore is one of the most preferred residential and commercial localities of Chennai. It is part of the CBD area and houses many key government institutions and tourist attractions. Egmore Railway Station is one of the iconic buildings in Chennai.

Egmore is situated on the northern banks of river Coovum. Triplicane, Royapettah, Chetpet, Nungambakkam, Periamet, Choolai, and Chintadripet are some of the regions surrounding the neighbourhood.
