Hey everybody welcome to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out an Aimpoint 39mm riser for Aimpoint-style magnifiers and QRP-QRW mounts for your Airsoft Gun or real rifle.

This 39mm riser is a very simple bit of kit but necessary to rise the Aimpoint 3X magnifier to work with M4S Red Dot sights that utilize the riser mounts. These elevated Red Dots make for a more comfortable "head up" shooting position but will create an offset with the 3X magnifier. The addition of the riser allows the magnifier to line back up with the Aimpoint and create an even "head up" shooting position. I really like this orientation for my optics and it does help me when at the Skirmish field or at an Airsoft Milsim event.

I am running the riser in an Airsoft G&P twist mount with a Matrix magnifier on my VFC MCX airsoft gun and it works perfectly. I picked up this riser from a seller on eBay and it did not come with hardware for the mounting so I reached out to Aimpoint to purchase some longer screws, they did not sell them separately but told me they would find me a set from the warehouse and send them out to me. While waiting for these screws I ordered a second riser from Amazon for another Magnifier build for my son and you can find this complete riser with mounting screws here:
