The Brouwersrgacht canal got its name from the fact that there were breweries here on this Brouwersgracht canal, which means Brewery canal. Those beautiful red canopies are typical of this Brouwersgracht canal. So beautiful to look at!

This is just on of the many beautiful streets in Amsterdam. When you live in Amsterdam, then you will find that on every bike ride, even after 10 years, you still can find new streets that you had not seen before. Thats why Amsterdam is such as special place. Although I must say that the winters in Amsterdam are horrible. I prefer to leave Amsterdam for a more sunny destination haha.
