Después de migrar de Carabobo hacia suelo lusitano, aterrizando en Madeira, el base armador no consiguió rivales en la isla vistiendo la camiseta del C.A.B Madeira. Esto le valió ser ojeado por el CNT de la Federación Portuguesa de Baloncesto y serle otorgado una beca al centro de alto rendimiento nacional, en Ponte de Sor. A su vez, ya estando en la península, García Andrade fue reclutado por el equipo más laureado de Portugal, en Lisboa.

Estará en la preselección nacional para el Sudamericano U-17 FIBA de su categoría, del 2023. Aunque también es considerado fuertemente a representar a Portugal U-16, este verano 2022 en el FIBA U-16 Europe.

After migrating from Carabobo to Lusitanian soil, landing in Madeira initially, the point guard found no rivals on the island wearing the C.A.B Madeira jersey. This earned him looks of the CNT of the Portuguese Basketball Federation and a scholarship was awarded to him, to join the national high performance center, in Ponte de Sor. In turn, while on the peninsula, García Andrade was recruited by the most successful team in Portugal, the Lisbon team.

He will be in the national preselection for the FIBA South American U-17 of his category, in 2023. Although, he is also strongly considered to represent Portugal U-16, this summer 2022 at the FIBA U-16 Europe as he's a dual national of both countries.
