DHVI’s Capture HD Live Camera was deployed to support a client’s workover operation addressing collapsed 5 ½-inch casing. Live video from downhole was streamed directly to the client’s office in real time — providing immediate visibility into the operation.
The footage revealed that while the initial milling successfully cleaned the casing top, the following, smaller mill had unintentionally sidetracked, cutting into the cement annulus and creating a ghost hole.
With real-time insight, the team used workover pipe to circulate debris from the casing top, clearing the path forward for continued operations — efficiently and safely.
