A radon mitigation system works by creating suction under your home. The key components are a suction point(s), a vent pipe, and a radon fan. The suction point is the collection point where the radon-laden soil gas is drawn. The radon fan is attached to the vent pipe to create the suction needed to draw the radon from below your home and exhaust it above your house.
