All over the world, the right wings are gaining influence, news of wars and mass murders is coming thick and fast, structural abuse of power is part of our everyday lives - and all of this at a time when we should all be fighting together to keep our planet habitable.

For all those who like to stay out of these issues, now is the time to take a stand! This can look very differently: We need people who loudly point out injustice and people who do sensitive educational work, as well as people who take care of victims or people who donate to social projects. We need people who talk to each other and also people who write a soundtrack for such times.

All of these ways of showing attitude have their right to exist - but silence no longer does at some point. Anyone who remains neutral is complicit in the horrific developments in our society. The reality we live in requires us to constantly explore how we can use our own platforms and skills to counteract oppression. People who show backbone give us so much strength and hope. And that’s how we realize again and again: It really is worth it!
