The “Rose Serves” program gives our teams the opportunity to volunteer, to give back to the communities we operate in, providing their time to mission-aligned causes that benefit historically underserved communities.

This year, our focus has been on Food Security. Our teams had the privilege of working with two key partners: the New York Common Pantry and the Greater Cleveland Foodbank. These organizations help provide fresh, healthy food to individuals in need, and our volunteers were honored to support their efforts.

The New York Common Pantry is a longstanding partner of Rose Companies, bringing free or low-cost, nutritious food to some of our existing communities in New York. Sadly, food insecurity is often a hidden crisis, with many people struggling to afford nutritious meals amidst competing economic challenges. The lack of consistent access to healthy food not only creates stress but also impacts emotional and physical well-being, affecting a variety of outcomes, including children's educational achievement.

Through our social impact initiatives, we delivered over 1 million pounds of free food to our communities last year. The mission of our company seeks to create a more socially just world through the provision of affordable housing and by creating conditions to help level the playing field of opportunity—so that one day, food pantries and food banks are no longer a necessity.

In the meantime, we are deeply grateful to the New York Common Pantry, the Greater Cleveland Foodbank, and other organizations like them, for their unwavering commitment to serving those in need. We thank them for giving our teams for the opportunity to support their vital efforts.
